Jochen Deister
German Lawyer
Jochen Deister advises clients in business law and in particular in IT law. He specializes in privacy law as well as in contract negotiations.
Jochen is the author of books in IT and in competition law. He has also published on negotiation strategy and tactics.
Before co-founding DMZ Legal, he was senior legal counsel at Amazon. As professor for German and international business law, information and communication law he also founded the inhouse-institute at the GGS and developed an LL.M. course for inhouse lawyers. Jochen also runs the deister:institute for negotiation science.
Jochen was Lead Commercial Attorney at Motorola for mobile devices in EMEA and India and led the European legal teams of Avanade, a joint venture of Accenture and Microsoft. Like Georg Meyer-Spasche, he started his career at Clifford Chance.

Georg Meyer-Spasche

Georg Meyer-Spasche has 20 years of professional experience in the areas of technology and IT legal advice. He specialises on strategic compliance and security solutions in relation to cloud, IoT, mobile devices (MDM, BYOD), SIEM, Data Loss Prevention und Product to Market (EU). He is an expert at data protection solutions that work in practice.
Georg has structured numerous domestic and cross-border projects and transactions (IT, telecom, business processes), including the first full service IT outsourcing of a European airport.
As former member of Clifford Chance’s CMT Group and head of Osborne Clarke’s German IT Law practice group, Georg is used to working on international projects.

Pam Zimmermann, LL.M.

Pam Zimmermann provides legal advice in international business law, in particular relating to contractual, distribution or trade law issues.
She is inter alia specialised on (cross-border) distribution or supply chain agreements and other commercial agreements, which are of vital importance for your organisation. She is also able to support and structure the implementation of new and more efficient processes for your organisation from a legal point of view.
Previously, Pam was Head of Legal & IP at Leifheit AG and she worked as Senior Legal Counsel for First Solar and Motorola. Before she went in-house, she advised M&A transactions at Linklaters in London, Frankfurt a.M. and Singapore.
Pam is dual-qualified as German Rechtsanwältin and as Solicitor for England & Wales. She completed a Master in International Business Law at the University of London (Queen Mary & Westfield College).
